Maria Myres is a part of US Black heritage.
Maria, daughter of David and Esther Myers, was named in a deed of emancipation signed by the abolitionist James Gillespie Birney (late of Jefferson, Kentucky) on 3 Sep 1839. Maria is described in the deed as being "black, tall" and the mother of :

- Daniel b.c.1839
