Barbara (Müller) Lawrence has German Roots.

Barbara was the daughter of Jacob Müller & Maria Rothermel, early settlers in 1842 in Johnsburg, McHenry County, Illinois. They were the parents of 15 known children, all born in Johnsburg and baptized at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg. The spelling of the family surname was changed to Miller in later years.
