Caroline Theresa Naffin^[1] was born 19 Jan 1849 in Germany.^[2] Her parents are Johann Naffin and Friederika Ebel.

In 1868 she is listed as "Therese Nafin" farmer's daughter, living in Borntin, Neustettin, Pomerania, Prussia.^[3]

Before April 1872, Caroline married Herman Jahn in Germany.^[4] Their children are

At age 24, Caroline Theresa leaves Hamburg, Germany on 1 Apr 1872 aboard the "Prinz Albert" with her husband, his parents, and his siblings. (She is incorrectly listed as Wilhelm's daughter, instead of daughter-in-law.)^[4] They arrive in New York, New York, United States on 18 May 1872.^[5]

On the 3 Jun 1880 census of Brannan, Price County, Wisconsin, United States, she is listed as a housewife living with her husband, their two sons, and their two daughters.^[6]

Caroline Theresa Jahn died 7 Apr 1893 in Spirit, Price County, Wisconsin, United States. She is buried there in Spirit Hillcrest Cemetery.^[2]
