Biography

Mary Alice was born at Jerry's Plains 1863 the daughter of Christian NEILSON [Neilson-868] and Dinah TAYLOR [Taylor-37379]. Mary died 1921 at Auburn, Sydney, and in 1890 at Narrabri she married James MOYLAN.

MOYLAN, Mrs Mary Moylan, a former resident of the Narrabri district for 30 years, died recently at the age of 57, at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr Jack Maude, Lidcombe. She was laid to rest in the Catholic portion of the cemetery in the presence of many relations and friends, the principle mourners being Mrs Jack Maude and her son, Jack Moylan, together with 3 brothers and 3 sisters; and many others, for the late Mrs Moylan was one of 14. She had been at home for about 3 weeks from Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where she had undergone a serious operation: She never seemed to really rally and gradually passed away. Mr Jack Clarence of Narrabri was in Sydney and attended the funeral.
