Alice Mary Nelson was born September 6, 1885 in Malden, Essex, Massachusetts, the daughter of Eugene E. Nelson and Elizabeth Morse Whitten].[1] Alice married William Morton Bunting, Jr. on 25 September 1907 in Swampscott, Essex, Massachusetts. Their permanent residence was in Swampscott. [2][3] They had two daughters and two sons. William died in 1920. [4]
Before May 1922 Alice married Robert Lockwood Corby. In the 1925 Census she and her four children were living with him in New York City on Fifth Avenue. [5]
That marriage did not last. By 1928 Alice was using the last name of her first husband Bunting, on a trip to Napoli, Italy. Alice enjoyed traveling on passenger ships and she visited England, France, and Italy.

By 1930 Alice was living in Fairfield, Connecticut. [11]She lived in Fairfield County, Connecticut the rest of her life: Westport, Bridgeport, Fairfield. Alice died February 24, 1961 in Fairfield, Connecticut. [12]
