Biography

Ernest E. Nelson was born January 29, 1887 in Malden, Middlesex, Massachusetts to Eugene Nelson and Elizabeth Morse Whitten. ^[1]

He married Izabelle A. Pizzini before 1917 when he reported a wife and two year old child to the World War I draft board. At that time he was living in Winchester, Massachusetts, and he was working for his father as a coal salesman for his father's company Metropolitan Coal Company. ^[2]

He traveled to England in 1920.^[3]

He died at age 50. While the cause was specifically pericarditis, the principal cause was attributed to chronic alcholism. At the time of his death he was a patient at the Brattleboro Retreat. His home address is listed as Lynn, Massachusetts, and his wife Isabelle A. Pizzini is identified. ^[4]
