She may have attended the wedding of her brother in the marriage of Donald Nicholson and Jane Wetherell in a Church of England ceremony in St. Michael in the Hamlet on Monday 17 May 1824 in Aigburth, Liverpool. Jane and Donald went on to have some 12 children together, seven of whom lived to adulthood.[5]
