Biography

Marian Eva Nield was born in 1870, in Lancashire, England, the eldest known daughter, second child, of David Nield, a bookkeeper and insurance agent, and his wife Isabel Ann Stansfield, with her birth being registered in the 4th Quarter at Oldham,^[1]

On the 2nd April 1871, 6-month-old Alice was living with her family at 13 Rutland Street, Oldham Below Town. Home at the time were her father: David (27), mother: Isabel (29); and her older brother: 3-year-old George.^[2]

Alice Nield died young.

Alice Marian Eva Nield passed away in 1871, in Lancashire, England, not even reaching her first birthday, her death being registered in the 2nd Quarter at Oldham.^[3]
