Alexander Nisbet was born on 21 August 1907 at his parents' home on Main St., Newmilns, Ayrshire, Scotland, the son of James and Agnes (Gordon) Nisbet.[1][2]
At the time of his marriage in 1932 he was a hairdresser, residing at 23 Guthrie Rd., Saltcoats, Ayrshire. He married Jemima Tate Johnstone, the daughter of David and Janet (Malcolm) Johnstone, on 23 March 1932 at Lambridden, Dalry.[3]
Alexander died on 18 October 1991 at 21 Nertherlee Crescent, Dalry, Ayrshire, age 84 years, a retired hairdresser.[2]
