Mrs. Anna Weissenfluh, a former well-known resident of this city, and wife of Andrew Weissenfluh, a retired Lackawanna railroad engineer, died at her home, 511 West 130th street in New York city, at 10:30 o'clock last night after a week's illness. She was a native of Berlin, Germany, but came to America at the age of four years, and was a resident of Scranton over sixty years, having removed to the metropolis a short time ago, where the members of the family reside. She was in her sixty-fifth year. During her life in this city, she resided on Chestnut street and Oram boulevard, in West Scranton, and for several years was located at Lake Sheridan. A membership in the Washburn Street Presbyterian church was retained by her for many years, and the pastor, Rev. Ebenezer Flack, D.D., will conduct the funeral services. The body will arrive in this city Wednesday afternoon on Train No. 3 on the Lackawanna railroad, due at 1:45 o'clock, and will be taken to the home of Fred Softley 1034 West Lackawanna avenue where services will be held prior to interment in the family plot in Forest Hill cemetery. Her survivors are Mr. Weissenfluh, sons Fred W., Charles H., daughters Mrs. Albert Luchs, Mrs. Fred Softley, Mrs. Ella Sproul, Mrs. Eva Jacobs and Miss Anna Weissenfluh, all of whom are known in this city.
