Biography
Michael Null, Jr. was born October 8, 1812, in Jefferson county, a son of Michael Null and Marguerite House. On November 8, 1832, in Jefferson county, Missouri, Michael married Eliza [Hildebrand] Herrington [1] Michael and Eliza became the parents of as many as nine children, before she died circa 1850, in Franklin, Missouri.
On February 25, 1855, in Franklin, Missouri, Michael married Evaline Hensel. [2] Michael and Evaline are found on the United States Census of 1860, living in Miller Township, Maries county, Missouri. Children from his first marriage are living in the household with them: Julia Ann, born 1842; Mary Null, born 1845; Charles Franklin Null, born circa 1848; Martha Null, born 1849; and Thomas Null, born circa 1850. Also in the household is the son of Michael and Evaline, John William Null, born in April, 1856. Michael and Evaline had four more children, born after the 1860 census. [3]
Michael Null died February 1, 1899, at the age of 86 years and is buried in the Seaton Cemetery, in Maries county, Missouri. [4]
