Rosina was born on December 29, 1836 in the village of Bergdorf in the Glückstal district of the Odessa area and Black Sea region of South Russia to Friedrich Obenauer and Elisabeth (Schaible) Obenauer. She was the third of her father's 6 children and sixth of her mother's 9 children. Rosina was baptized on January 2, 1837.[1][2]
Family
On January 3, 1857, at the age of 20, Rosina married Christoph Weisshaar (1835-1893) in the village of Klöstitz near their home of Hoffnungstal in the Akkerman district of the Bessarabian area and Black Sea region of South Russia.[3][2]
