Ann died after 23 Apr 1698 in Somerset, Colony of Maryland, America aged >62. Based on the wording of her son Thomas Collins's will, in which he refers to her as 'my mother Offley, along with the fact that one Edward Offley is named in the will, that either Edward Offley was her husband after Mr. Collins, or he was a son of a Mr. Offley that she had married.

The fact that Thomas Collins refers to his mother as Offley strongly suggests that she had remarried and he was simply using her current surname in his will. She would have been a Collins at the time of his birth and therefore her last name at birth remains unknown.
