Birth

Christina was born on 8 December and baptized on 10 December 1837 in Baggetånga, Fridlevstad, Blekinge, Sweden.^[1]

Marriage

John (Johann) married Kristina Olafsdotter in Blekinge, Sweden in 1867.^[2]

Marriage notice; Kronobåtsman Joh. Gust. Petersson Hörling in Hult (born 1843) and pigan Christina Olsdotter (born 1837). Lysning (banns?) on October 1, marriage November 4, 1865.^[3]

Migration

Christina (Olasdotter) Herling migrated from Sweden to United States.

Kristina and her family migrated to America in the 1890's, settling in Minnesota.^[2]

The family was living in Spritsmåla, Älmeboda parish when the son Frans Edvard left for North America in May 1884. A year later, in May 1885, the rest of the family seem to have left their home for North America as well.^[4]

Death and Burial

She passed away in 23 November 1930 in Anoka, Minnesota.^{[citation needed]}
