Peter was born in 1851. He passed away after 1880. [1]
In the 1880 US Census for Dement, Ogle County, Illinois, Peter Oleson was a married twenty-nine-year-old white laborer who was born in about 1851 in Norway. Peter's wife, Mary Oleson, was a twenty-four-year-old white woman born in about 1856 also in Norway. The Oleson family also included two young sons -- Ole was a four-year-old born in Illinois about 1876. Ever Oleson was a two-year-old born in Illinois in about 1878. There was also a single white Norwegian male of seventeen named Lewis Larson included in the household, but no description is given.
