Biography

Perry was born on 30 December 1902 in Chester, Meigs, Ohio. He was the son of Bert E Orr and Kathryn Elizabeth (Frank) Orr.[1]

In the 1910 census Perry (age 7) was living in Chester, Meigs, Ohio. Marital Status: Single. Relation to Head of House: Son.[2]

When Perry was about 17 he married Jessie Mildred Spencer in 1920 in Wood, West Virginia. The couple had 5 children: Marion Wilbur Orr, Allen Ross Orr, Starling Edwin Orr, Marcus Maurice Orr and Alba Gordon Orr.[3]

In the 1920 census Perry (age 17) was living in Chester, Meigs, Ohio. Marital Status: Single. Relation to Head of House: Son.[4]

In the 1930 census Perry (age 27) was living in Chester, Meigs, Ohio. Marital Status: Married. Relation to Head of House: Head.[5]

In 1935 according to 1940 census Perry (age about 32) was living in Chester, Meigs, Ohio.[6]

In the 1940 census Perry (age 37) was living in Chester, Meigs, Ohio. Marital Status: Married. Relation to Head of House: Head.[6]

In 1945 according to a city directory Perry (age about 42) was living in Columbus, Ohio.[7]

In the 1950 census Perry (age 47), Maintenance Man 554, was a married husband in Franklinton, Columbus, Franklin, Ohio, United States.[8]

In 1951 according to a city directory Perry (age about 48) was living in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio. Worked at Buckeye Casket as a maintenance man with William C Orr and William H Orr.[7]

In 1957 according to a city directory Perry (age about 54) was living in Columbus, Ohio.[7]

Perry died at the age of 79 on 2 February 1982 in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio.[9][10]
