Daniel Osborn was born in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut Colony on 23 Jun 1736. He was the son of Samuel Osborn and Mary Phelps.[1]
Daniel married Hannah Ely,[2][3] probably in about 1764, based on the birth of their first known child in February of 1765. After their marriage, they settled in Windsor (from 1768, East Windsor), where they registered the births of their first four children. They had at least four additional children, probably born in East Windsor between about 1774 and perhaps 1790, when Hannah would have been in her 40s. Those children are known from other sources, but not listed in the published Vital Records of the town.
