Military Service
On 30 October 1945 at Camp Ashby, California, Arnold enlisted in the US Army as a Staff Sargent for one year.[4]
Marriage
On 25 August 1944, Arnold (age 31) applied for license to marry Alma Traylor (age 31) in Prattville, Autauga, Alabama.[5] They were married that same day in a civil ceremony by F.L. Gaddis, Judge of Probate in Prattville. This was Alma's second marriage. She and her first husband divorced in Montgomery, Alabama in 1937.
Death and Burial
On 3 April 1962 Arnold died in in Montgomery, Alabama.[6] He was buried in Oakwood Annex Cemetery, Montgomery, Alabama.[7]

Alma Laverne Traylor was born 29 December 1912. Her parents were J.C. Traylor and Nola Smith. She died 5 October 1984 and was buried in Oakwood Annex Cemetery.[8]
