Henry was born about 1841. He was the son of Allen Parker and Catherine Bing. He enlisted in the 148th New York Infantry in 1862 and was killed at Port Walthall Virginia which was part of the "Bermuda Hundred Campaign" in 1864. There is a cenotaph in his honor indexed at Find-A-Grave, though his burial place is not known.
