Alice Parker was born in the 1590's. She is the daughter of John Parker and Unk. Unk.. [1]
The following is on page 88 of an article by Douglas Richardson in The New England Historical and Genealogical Register (Vol 153 (1999), pgs 81-96). The article is entitled "THE ENGLISH ORIGIN AND ANCESTRY OF THE PARKER BROTHERS OF MASSACHUSETTS and of their Probable Aunt, Sarah Parker, Wife of Edward Converse".
ALICE PARKER (possible child), b. say 1590; m. at Great Burstead, 12 July 1609, George Payne. Their subsequent history is unknown.
The birth year of 1590 in Richardson's article is just a guess. Because Alice is not mentioned in her grandmother's will dated 19 Jan 1593 whereas two of her siblings (John and Sarah) are mentioned, we would like to move her birth date a few years forward. But because Alice was married 12 Jul 1609, her birth year cannot be much later than 1593. Maybe she married at 16 (rather young) or for some reason was not mentioned in the will.
Research shows that Alice is confirmed as the daughter of John Parker, but her mother was John's first wife, whose name is unknown. See John's profile for more detail. Jack Day, 8/24/2015
