The marriage, by licence, of Charles Parkins and Elizabeth Scholefield was conducted 21 August 1819, Leeds, St. Peter, Yorkshire. E Clapham, Curate, officiated, and their witnesses were Robert Hargrave, and ? Britten.

On the 6th June 1841, Charles, a wool sorter, was living in Bedford Place, Leeds, Yorkshire. Home at the time were his wife: Elizabeth, their children: 19-year-old Frances Ann; Sarah; 8-year-old John; 3-year-old Emily; and 8-month-old Louisa; 70-74-year-ol Yorkshire-born Ruth Cass (relationship and occupation not stated); and Yorkshire-born Mary Lockwood (20-24), servant.[3]
Charles Parkins died on the 14th December 1843, in Leeds, Yorkshire, England,[4] and was buried on the 19th in Leeds. [5]
