There is a record of the banns of marriage between William Parrott, widower, and Mary Bingham, spinster, on 27 April, 04 May and 11 May 1828 in Clerkenwell, Middlesex. [1]

Joseph Parrott, born c 1832 (perhaps: this is based on the 1841 census record, which may be inaccurate)
Joseph Parrott, born on 08 April 1838 and christened on 27 May 1838 at the church of St Giles without Cripplegate. [3]
Maria Parrott, born on 28 January 1840 and christened on 05 July 1840 at the church of St Giles without Cripplegate [4]
Mary Ann Parrott, born on 28 June 1842 and christened on 02 October 1842 at the church of St Giles without Cripplegate. [5]
The first census of England and Wales was carried out in 1841. At this time, William and Mary were living in Half Moon Alley, St Giles without Cripplegate, London. [6] The children in the family were Elizabeth (11), Joseph (age 8) and Thomas (age 4), all born in Middlesex.
In 1851 the family was living on Moon Alley, St Giles without Cripplegate, Middlesex. The members of the family were:
- William Parrott, head, age 50, labourer, born in Harrow, Middlesex
- Mary Parrott, wife, age 51, born in Sykehouse, Yorkshire
- Thomas W Parrott, son, age 18, porter, born in Holborn, Middlesex
- Joseph Parrott, son, age 12, errand boy, born in London
