Elizabeth (Patterson) Saltmarsh was born in Massachusetts.

Elizabeth, the first daughter and second of nine children of [[Patterson-989|Joseph Emmett Patterson and Lydia Marean was born on 2 April 1740 at Watertown, Massachusetts.^[1]

Elizabeth married William Saltmarsh, the son of Thomas and Mary (Hazen) Saltmarsh on 9 December 1760 at Watertown, Massachusetts ^[2] They had ten children born at Watertown, Massachusetts:

Death and Burial

Elizabeth (Patterson) Saltmarsh died on 1 April 1816 in her 77th year at Athens, and is buried in the Old Athens Cemetery at Athens, Bradford, Pennsylvania.^[6]
