From Janet West: (confirmed by LDS webpage https://www.familysearch.org/)
"I have the christenings and marriage of Walter Patton and Elizabeth Cooper, of Wrentham, County Suffolk, England are found on FHL Film 919640, Wrentham Parish Registers, 1602-1899, Church of England. The marriage and all the Christenings are on the same film and all took place, Wrentham. There are some missing years on the film which may account for the missing names or the parents may have been visiting or living somewhere else during those missing years.
From Janet West: I have wondered if the children that were not in the Wrentham Parish records might have been b. in Scotland. On one of the census, mother Elizabeth Cooper is noted as being b. in Norfolk, England.
Janet West also found immigration info:
"They arrived on the ship Thames on 2 Nov 1831 to Phila. from London, England. When you had all the names of the children of Walter Patton and Elizabeth COOPER correct I thought you had the passenger list. My husband and I found it on film at the National Archives in Phila. M-360, Roll 114, Passenger Lists of Vessels Arriving at Phila. 1800-1906.
The family emigrated to Philadelphia from London on the ship Thames on 2 Nov 1831. Copy(in my file) is very light and hard to read.

Place: Wrentham, County Suffolk, England
Note: Wrentham (Wikipedia)
Wrentham is a village in the north-east of the English county of Suffolk. Wrentham is located about 2 miles (3 km) from the coast along the A12 trunk road. It is approximately 7 miles (10 km) south-west of Lowestoft, 4 miles (6¾ km) north of Southwold and 6? miles (10½ km) south-east of Beccles.
The village has several shops, two pubs (the Horse & Groom and the Five Bells Inn), a village hall and a thriving community life. The parish church is located to the west of the village near the old animal pound which is situated near the church, used in the 18th and 19th centuries to contain stray animals rounded up in the parish
St Nicholas' Church, Wrentham
The parish church of Wrentham is dedicated to Saint Nicholas. The church is around half a mile to the west of the main village. The church is positioned in a churchyard high above crossroads. Wrentham church is tucked away in a churchyard full of trees and shrubs which is a haven for wildlife. The tower, porch and south aisle are 15th century but the north aisle is Victorian. The chancel is the oldest part of the church probably built around 13th century and is supported by red-brick flying buttresses. Both the nave and chancel are very wide. The south aisle contains wooden posts on the south wall to support the roof beams. In the north aisle there is a medieval stained glass window depicting St Nicholas, reputed to be one of the oldest pictures in England. The church had a major re-roofing and restoration during 1990-2000.[1][2][3]
The Church Bells of St Nicholas
The tower contains a ring of six bells hung for change ringing. The bells are rung from the ground floor in an anti-clockwise direction. The bells were cast by a range of founders spanning three centuries. The treble (the smallest) and the third were cast by Thomas Gardiner of Sudbury, Suffolk in 1723 and 1714 respectively. The second is the oldest bell in the tower, dating from 1606 and cast by John Clarke. The fourth and fifth were cast in 1906 by Mears & Stainbank and the tenor (the largest) was cast by Llewellins & James of Bristol in 1905. The bells were described as ‘not in tune’ at the end of the 19th century[4] and this may suggest why two bells were recast and another added at the beginning of the 20th century. The precise weight of the bells is not known but the tenor is estimated to weigh between 10 and 11 hundredweight. The frame is positioned high in the tower. Although the bells are not rung regularly, ringing does take place for special occasions such as weddings. The tower is affiliated to the Suffolk Guild of Ringers.[5]
SUFFOLK
"SUFFOLK, a maritime county on the E. coast of England, is bounded N. by Norfolk, E. by the German Ocean, S. by Essex, and W. by Cambridge. It lies between 51° 56' and 52° 37' N. lat., 0° 23' and 1° 46' E. long. Its greatest length from Southtown, a suburb of Great Yarmouth, on the N.E., to the south-western border, is 68 miles, and the extreme breadth 52 miles. The area is 1,481 square miles, or 947,681 acres, of which about 820,000 acres are arable land, meadow, and pasture. The population in 1801 was 214,404; in 1851, 337,215; and in 1861, 337,070.
In the earliest times of which we have any record, it was inhabited by the Iceni, a British tribe, and subsequently formed part of the Roman province of Flavia Cæsariensis. It was afterwards occupied by the Angles, and formed part of the kingdom of East Anglia. In 654, Penda, king of Mercia, attacked the East Anglians, and in a battle fought near Blytheburgh, slew their king. The Danes early commenced their ravages along this coast, and in 871 defeated and took prisoner Edmund, king of East Anglia, whom they put to death for refusing to renounce Christianity. His body was removed from Hoxne to Bury, which received in consequence the name of Bury St. Edmund's, and a monastery was erected to his honour.
In the division of the kingdom under Alfred the county was included within the Danelagh, and at the time of the Norman conquest was held by Gurth, brother of Harold II. The surface of this county is generally flat, or gently undulating, there being no eminence in the whole county worthy of notice. The highest ground lies towards the W., through which, some miles to the W. of Bury, and thence to Thetford, runs a chalk dyke, which crosses this part of England in a north-easterly direction. This ridge separates the watershed of the N. from that of the S. of the county, the streams on the upper side flowing into the Little Ouse and Waveney, while those on the lower side fall into the Stour and Orwell, or directly into the German Ocean. The north western districts bordering on Cambridgeshire partake of its marshy, fenny nature, and in some places the land is secured from overflow of the rivers by large embankments along their course. The coast line, 52 miles in length, is for the most part regular, and convex to the sea. The bays are generally shallow, and the headlands have little prominence. The principal harbours are formed by the estuaries of the Orwell and Stour on the S.E., and of the other rivers which flow into the German Ocean. The shore is in most places low and sandy, and occasionally marshy; but low cliffs, composed of alternations of clay, sand, and gravel, are found on both sides of the estuary of the Deben, and at some other points. These are being slowly undermined by the sea, while at some places the reverse occurs, and accessions of land are being formed by the accumulation of marine deposits. Lowestoft, Southwold, and Felixstow are much resorted to as watering-places. " (There is more of this description <SuffolkHistory.html>).
