Constance married John Anthony Kenneth Hawes (1923-1978) on 29 September 1948, at Chatswood, New South Wales.[3] They had four children.
She passed away on 12 February 1975, at Terrey Hills, New South Wales.[4][5] Constance is buried at Frenchs Forest Cemetery, Davidson, New South Wales.[6]
