Thomas Pearsons was born about 1819, son of John Pearsons.
On 30 Oct 1841 Thomas married Maria Pettitt, daughter of Joseph Pettitt in Thingoe, Suffolk[1][2].
In 1851 Thomas, Maria and their children Eliza, Sarah and John lived with Robert and Lucy Hardy at Sicklesmere, Great Whelnetham[3]. Thomas was a farm labourer. By 1861 they had their own home with children Sarah, John, Sophia, George, Mark and a lodger, John Pettit (possibly a relative of Maria - a Robert and Martha Pettitt lived next door)[4].
In 1871 they lived in Great Whelnetham with children John, George, Hanah, Henry and Emily[5].
He died in 1876 and was buried 10 Oct at St Thomas a Becket in Great Whelnetham[6][7].
