Mary Jane Peck (married name Spring) was born on 16 October 1823 in New York, United States, the daughter of Jeremiah Peck and Sally Houghtalin.^{[1][2][3][4][5][6]}

Her husband was Leander Spring.^[1][2] Their children were:

Mary died on 31 October 1901 in Lenawee County, Michigan.^[2] Her remains were interred at Lime Creek Cemetery in Lime Creek, Michigan.^[2]
