He passed away on June 18, 1911 in Nevada following an operation for appendicitis. He is buried at Cimetière Mont-Royal, Outremont, Montreal Region, Quebec, Canada.

The Montreal Gazette, June 19, 1911, page 5. News reached Ottawa today of the death of Harry Peck of Montreal, in Nevada. The wire stated that he had undergone an operation for appendicitis and died as a result. The widow is accompanying the remains to Ottawa. She is a daughter of Col. White, a controller of the R.N.W.M.P., and was married here three years ago. Col. White left here yesterday for the Riviere de Loup, but has been recalled to Ottawa by the family.
