Anna Kirstine was born in 1847. She was the daughter of Peder Andersen and Karen Gurine Olsdatter. She passed away in 1930.

Anne was baptized 26th September,1849 at the Solum Lutheran Church, Solum, Telemark, Norway. She emigrated with her parents and six siblings in 1857 to Ashippun, Dodge County, Wisconsin. Anne was the mother of eighteen children. Many died as babies. She is buried at the Halverson/Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Menomonie, Dunn County, Wisconsin. The land for the cemetery was part of the Halverson family farm. The Halverson family managed the cemetery for years and many family members are buried there. The cemetery was gifted to the Christ Lutheran Church and it is managed by a board of directors. Christ Lutheran Church was originally called the North Menomonie Norwegian Church.
