Mary Penter was born in Cornwall, England.

Mary was born in 1820 at Landaviddy Farm in Lansallos. She was the daughter of William Penter (bef.1775-1833) and Ann Blight (bef.1777-1842).
She was baptised privately on the 7th of February 1820 at Lansallos Parish Church, Cornwall. [1] She was buried two days later on the 22nd February 1820, again at Lansallos Parish Church. [2]
