Biography

In 1870 he was 9 and living with his parents and siblings in Oregon. ^[1]

His wife was Matilda Ann Armstrong. She seemed to go by Annie in early census records and then Matilda on later census records.

In 1895 their son Leslie was born in Idaho. ^[2]

In 1900 their family was living in Washington. Reuben and Annie had 5 children living with them. The census states they had been married 10 years. The oldest child was 13, that was Oscar Phillips. ^[3]

In 1910 they were living in Oregon. ^[4]

In 1920 Reuben and Matilda, and daughter Mary were living in Oregon. ^[5]

In 1930 Reuben and Matilda were living in Oregon. He was 69 and she was 66. ^[6]

He passed in 1936. ^[7]

Buried in Granite Hill Cemetery, Grants Pass, Josephine County, Oregon. ^[8]
