Woodrow Wilson Pierce was born on January 18, 1919 in Bayou Chene, St. Martin, Louisiana, United States, son of Thomas Franklin Pearce (1881–1970) and Florence Carline (1897–1919).
Wilson married Lucille Claire Babin (age ), daughter of Allen Joseph Babin (1892-1959) and Clair Anita Folse (1897-1984) on in Iberville, Louisiana. Their children were:

In the 1930 census, Wilson (age 11) lived with his grandfather, James Carline (age 60), his grandmother, Louisa (age 45), his aunt, Lilly (age 19) in Police Jury Ward 2, St. Martin, Louisiana, United States. His mother Florence, died at age 21 in an influenze epidemic. His father [1]
In the 1940 census, Wilson (age 21) single, lived with his grandfather, James Carline (age 66), his grandmother, Louise (age 57), his uncles, Earlis (age 28), Jessie (age 21), Rayne (age 19) in Ward Eight, Iberville, Louisiana, United States.[2]
In the 1950 census, Woodrow (age 31), Deck Hand Cook, on tug boat, head of household, lived with his wife, Lucille Babin (age 27), their sons Charles (age 3), Roy Joseph (age 2 months, in Plaquemine, Iberville, Louisiana, United States.[3]
Wilson died on June 23, 1995 in Plaquemine, Iberville, Louisiana, aged 76.[4] and was buried in Protestant Cemetery, Plaquemine, Iberville Parish, Louisiana, United States. [5]
