Leslie Place was born on August 11, 1893 in Sydney, Colony of New South Wales, son of James Place (1866–1901) and Ellen Sophia Chung Ah Ting (1869–1923).[1]
Leslie (24) married Vera Bax (25) (born in 1892 in Orange, New South Wales) in 1918 in Waverley, New South Wales.[2] Their son was Alan Leslie Place (1924–2014).
Leslie died on December 23, 1957 in Vaucluse, New South Wales, Australia, aged 64.
