Biography

Marie Julie Anna Plante was born and baptised 11 July 1870 in Saint-Charles; she was the daughter of Antoine Plante and Anastasie Gosselin. Her godparents were Philéas Ruel and Marie Ruel. [1]

On 8 Jan 1889, in St-Charles de Bellechasse, Joseph Bilodeau adult son of François Bilodeau and Henriette Queret married Julieanna Plante (signature) minor daughter of Antoine Plante and the late Anastasie Gosselin. Witnesses were the groom's father and the bride's brother Antoine Plante (signature) (this might be a half brother since her brother Antoine Onésime went by Onésime and appears to have signed separately). Multiple signatures including the bride and groom and possibly the bride's sister Delphine Plante and brother Onésime Plante. [2]

Anna Plante, 34 year old wife of Joseph Bilodeau, died 5 Mar 1904 and was buried 8 Mar 1904 in St-Vital-de-Lambton. [3]
