Biography

Theodorus Polhemus, was born 20 May 1811, the son of Johannes Polhemus [and [Stulz-2|Caty Stulz]], Christened 11 Aug 1811 at DUTCH REFORMED CHURCH, PARAMUS, BERGEN, NEW JERSEY;Theodorus Polhemus[1]


Theodorus was married to Marie Aurore Frederic. The children of Theodorus and Marie were:

  1. John Andrew Hamous
  2. John Paul Hamous
  3. Francois Hamous
  4. Mary Hamous
  5. Sarah Catherine Hamous

He passed away in 1865 in Brazos Santiago Island, Cameron, Texas, United States at possibly the last battle of the Civil War known as the Battle of Palmito Ranch.[1][2]
