William Earl Pollard was born on October 15, 1918, in Afton, Dickens, Texas, United States, son of Adney N. Pollard (1882–1931) and Ocie Belle Hogland (1887–1949). ^[1]

He was married to Nora Luella Fletcher (1919–1998) and they had one son.

William (20) married Lois Louella Daniel (16) (born on April 28, 1923, in Dillard, Carter, Oklahoma, United States; daughter of Ouida Leona (Hopkins) Daniel) on July 22, 1939. ^[2] In 1950 he was living in Oregon and had two of his nieces living with him, Barbara and Patsy. ^{[3] [4]}

William's death details are unverified at this time. Most trees give a death of 22 January 1983 in Paraguay.
