Biagia Pomara is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Giovanni Pomara and Lucia Ruffino, who married in 1841. She is named after her paternal grandmother.
Biagia marries Giovanni Leone, son of the late Giuseppe Leone and Rosalia Castelli, on 4 September 1864 in Corleone.[1]
Giovanni and Biagia have at least three children: Rosaria (c. 1866), Giovanni/John (c. 1878), and Vincenzo (c. 1879).
Rosaria marries Nicolo' Pollara on 1 November 1885 in Corleone.[2]
Giovanni marries Giovanna Zabbia on 16 January 1898 in Corleone.[3]
Vincenzo marries Lucia Gennaro on 24 September 1899 in Corleone.[4]
Vincenzo and Lucia migrate to New York City by 1905, when her brother, Antonino, joins them there at 220 E. 97th St.[5]
Giovanni and Giovanna move to New York in 1904.[6] Biagia's brother, Salvatore, lives in New York by 1905.
Rosaria moves to New York with her young children in 1906, joining her husband and oldest son.[7]
