Note:

John was born about 1810. In 1835, he married Adaline Rasberry in Greene County, Alabama,[4] and they had several children.

In 1850, the family was in Lauderdale, Mississippi, where the household consisted of Jno (40, SC, farmer), Adaline (35, GA), and six children—William G (14, AL), Isaac M (12, AL), Elizabeth (11, AL), Jas R (6, AL), Susan (4, AL) and Julia A (2, AL).[5]

John passed away in 1880 and is buried at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lauderdale County, Mississippi.[6]

Poole-1603 and Pool-1217 appear to represent the same person because: Except for the middle name and the spelling of the surname (Poole/Pool), all information on these profiles appear to be the same. Probably correct spelling as of 1880 would have been POOL (as on John's marriage record, 1850 Census, and grave marker).
