This Elizabeth Poole Brown, daughter of William Poole and Mary Elizabeth Stovall, could not have been married to one John Brown in 1788 and another in 1800. Since the sources support the marriage to John (nickname Jackie) Brown in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1800, the other John Brown was probably married to a different Elizabeth.
There is an Elizabeth P. Brown on the 1850 Sumter Co, SC census. She is listed with son Francis A. Brown and grandson Francis B. Brown. I think this is the same Elizabeth Poole Brown. Right?
