Biography

In the 1911 census, Irvine was the single son of Janet Poole in Strathcona Sub-Districts 33-52, Alberta, Canada.[1]

In the 1916 census, H. Ervin Poole (age 19) was the single son of Edward Poole in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and employed as a clerk in a laundry.[2]

On November 18, 1916, Irvine Ward Poole, who gave his age as 21 and was the son of Edwin Poole and Jennet Agnes White, married Bessie Elizabeth Morgan, age 18 and the daughter of Alex S Morgan and Francis Maud Stuart in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[3]

On December 12, 1921 in Vancouver, Washington, USA, Irvine Ward Poole, aged 25 and son of Edwin Poole and Janet White, married Elizabeth Strachan, aged 25 and daughter of Alexander Strachan and Elizabeth Stewart.[4]

In the 1940 census, Irvine (age 48) was the married head of household in Seattle Election Precinct, King, Washington, United States.[5]

Irvine W. Poole died November 30, 1948 in Seattle, Washington. His obituary named his parents, his brother and sister plus a wife Ida and son Irvine Donald.[6] Irvine Donald Poole, born April 26, 1926 in Seattle and the son of Irvine Poole and Ida Stone, died September 18, 2000.[7] Irvine W. Poole was buried in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Evergreen-Washelli Memorial Park in Seattle.[8]
