Biography
Henry Franklin Porche was born on August 7, 1864, in Terrebonne, Louisiana, to Marie Octavia Bonvillain, age 23, and Joachim Schuyler "Joseph" Porche, age 24. In 1870 the family was farming in Houma. [1]
He married Emelie Alfreda “Milly” LeGrand on February 14, 1888, and they had ten children. In 1900 he was working as a ,machinist. [2]
He died on January 22, 1954, in Houma, Louisiana, at the age of 89, and was buried there in the Saint Francis de Sales Cemetery. [3]
