Biography
Jesse Louis Porche was born on October 21, 1891, in Houma, Louisiana, to Emelie Alfreda “Milly” LeGrand, age 21, and Henry Franklin Porche, age 27. In 1900 his father was working as a ,machinist. [1]
He married Rita Mae Virgie Simoneaux on April 22, 1920, in the St. Joseph Church in Baton Rouge.
He died on April 8, 1961, in Temple, Texas, at the age of 69, and was buried in his hometown in the Saint Francis de Sales Cemetery. [2]
