Biography
John was born in May of 1793 to Timothy Putnam and Janet Hunter (one of 7 children). He married first Jane Corbett (1800-1857) - they had 9 children. He next married Ruth Fisher in 1862 - no children born to this couple. He died Nov. 19, 1870 at Halifax at age 77.
