Biography

Ephraim was born about 1700. He passed away about 1767.

[1]His earliest paternal American ancestor was William Quinby, a native of Farnham, Surrey, who came from England in 1638 and settled at Salem, Mass. From him the line of descent is traced through his son John, likewise a native of England, and his wife Deborah Haight; their son Josiah and his wife Mary Molyneux ; their son Ephraim and his wife Elizabeth Hall Halladay, to their son Ephraim Quinby and his wife Anna Blackmore,

All those listed as QuiMbys in this profile are in fact QuiNbys as listed in the image that accompanies it! It is page 123 from Henry Cole QuiNbys 600 page authoritative genealogy of the Quinby/QuiMby families that includes details of Ephraim’s ancestors and descendants all of whom are listed correctly as QuiNby descendants.

This is an egregious error that is rampant among many our our Quinby ancestors who are incorrectly listed as QuiMbys. Ron Perkins Direct Quinby Descendant

I believer his LNAB should be Quinby with Quimby in the other, if you could consider changing, it would be greatly appreciated.
