Marcin Mikołaj Radziwiłł was born in 1705. He passed away in 1782. He died in Slutsk and was buried in Niasviž .
He was a Marshal of the Main Tribunal of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (1737)[1] and a Grand Lithuanian General, Lieutenant General of the Army of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Knight of the Order of St. Alexander Nevsky (1757)[2].
Well educated, in his youth an erudite dealing with medicine, physics and alchemy. Lithuanian krajczy from the grant of Augustus III. From his father, he inherited numerous estates, m.in Ostrów, Przygodzice. Father of Józef Mikołaj and Michał Hieronim Radziwiłł.
In adolescence, he began to betray the symptoms of mental illness.
He probably inherited it from his father Jan Mikołaj.
Over time, the disease began to lead to insanity.
He imprisoned his second wife and his sons for several years in a room without furniture.
He founded a harem of kidnapped or bought girls and imprisoned kidnapped girls.
He attacked and set fire to nearby mansions, committed robberies on the roads, kidnapped and imprisoned people, prepared corpses.
In his laboratory he was looking for the philosopher's stone.
He also devoted himself to Talmudic studies, learned Hebrew, surrounded himself only with Jews and observed religious practices with them.
In 1748 he was captured in Czarnawczyce by Hieronim Florian Radziwiłł and incapacitated. He was held by the Radziwiłł family in custody, first in Biała Podlaska, then in Slutsk. It was supervised by Hieronim Florian Radziwiłł, his brother Michał Kazimierz Radziwiłł, son Michał Hieronim Radziwiłł.
In an appendix to a telegram of October 2, 1767 to the president of the College of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Empire, Nikita Panin, the Russian envoy Nikolai Repnin described him as an envoy doubtful for the implementation of Russian plans at the Sejm of 1767, a deputy of the Kiev Voivodeship to the Sejm of 1767[3].

He had with her one daughter Antonia Massalska (born Radziwiłł), 1730 - 1764.
She married Jozef Adrian Massalski; Jozef was born in 1726. They had one daughter: Helena Potocki h.Pilawa (born Massalska) . Antonia passed away in 1764, at age 33.
