Giorgio was born in 1863 along with his twin Vito. He and his twin died a week after birth. Giorgio is the son of Giuseppe Raia and Antonina Scaturro[1].
Giorgio was named for his maternal grandfather, Giorgio Scaturro.
Research Notes
The baptism portion of Giorgio's birth record names him as Giorgio Ciaccio. Just an error, as his parents are a well-documented couple and his surname was Raia.
