MRS. LENA WHITE RANDOLPH, aged 31, died at 11:30 o'clock Wednesday night in the East Liverpool city hospital, following an operation for appendicitis which she underwent a brief time before her death. She had been removed to the City hospital Wednesday afternoon. Miss Lena White, was born in Mechanicstown, October 30th, 1888, a daughter of James C. and Sarah M. White. Miss White was united in marriage four years ago to William Randolph, Jr., of Salineville, where she resided since her marriage. Deceased is survived by one son, Deverne, and her mother, Mrs. Sarah M. White of Mechanicstown, and one brother, Austin White of Specht and two-half brothers, John J. White of Rochester, Pa., E.D. Wallace of Mount Union. Mrs. Kay Shively of Carrollton, Mrs. Ora Kennedy and Mrs. Rogan of Specht. The funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the M.E. Church at Mechanicstown, Rev. Ball, officiating. Interment was made in the Mechanicstown cemetery. [1]
