14 Nov 1778 Deed Book M Sarah Rascoe of Hertford County to Aaron Askew of Bertie Co. 40£ 130 acres joining Spring Branch, Cashy Road, Wm Byrd. Wit: Channedy (Canedy) Askew, William Winburn Aug Ct 1783. Stevens Gray CC[1] Sarah then married John Freeman. Some four years later John wrote his will naming Sarah and her two former husbands.[2] Sarah, her former husbands Henry Winborne and and James Rascoe Daughter: Elizabeth Baker (wife of James) Sons: Solomon, Elisha, John, Moses, Aaron [3]
