Biography
Richard Silas Ratliff was born about 1751 in Augusta, Virginia to parents Reuben Ratliff Sr. and Frances Hancock. He married Francis (Fanny) Hancock about 1770 in Virginia. Children: Ralph, Benjamin, Leathea, Shaderick, Peter, Silas, John, Richard. He died about 1840 in Tazewell, Virginia.
