Biography

When Johannes George Michael Reed was born on June 3, 1806, in Northumberland, Pennsylvania, his father, Johannes, was 26 and his mother, Maria, was 26. He married Elizabeth Overmyer on December 15, 1834, in Sandusky, Ohio. They had nine children in 32 years. He died on December 8, 1888, in Fremont, Ohio, having lived a long life of 82 years, and was buried there.
